Variety reports that the always awesome Michael K. Williams (“The Wire,” “The Night Of,” “Hap And Leonard,” and much, much more) is in final talks for the untitled “Star Wars” Han Solo spinoff (dammit, there we go again). Of course, there’s no word on his role in the Phil Lord and Chris Miller-directed movie that has a script by Jon and Lawrence Kasdan, but he’s in it, which is enough for us.

Williams joins Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke, in the film that opens on May 25, 2018.
