So, just how many characters are in this “Blade Runner” sequel? With filming set to begin next month, Denis Villeneuve keeps stacking his cast Ridley Scott-style (which is perhaps appropriate) for his sci-fi blockbuster, to the point where I’m just going to presume everyone outside of the main characters will get about five seconds of screen time.

At any rate, Oscar nominated actor Barkhad Abdi (“Captain Phillips,” “Eye In The Sky“) has joined Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri and Mackenzie Davis in the film penned by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, of which no details have been released just yet. So, insert your own “I’m the Captain now” joke and speculate about who everybody might be playing, besides Ford, who is returning as Deckard, obviously.
