12 TV Shows To Watch In September: ‘The Morning Show,’ ‘The Continental’ & More - Page 3 of 3

The Continental: From The World Of John Wick
The “John Wick” spinoff series, “The Continental,” finally arrives several years after first announced. A prequel series set in the 1970s, it’s a three-part event only and not a traditional, ongoing series. It tells the story of how Winston Scott (Ian McShane in the original films) came to his position as proprietor of the Continental’s New York branch. Colin Woodell stars as young Winston, and the series also features Mel Gibson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, and Ayomide Adegun, among others.

Still Up
Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts star in the insomnia dramedy “Still Up,” created by Steve Burge and Natalie Walter. The two stars are Lisa and Danny, two individuals who’ve bonded and developed a friendship over their sleep disorders as they keep one another company during their sleepless nights despite never having met one another. Blake Harrison, Rich Fulcher, and Samantha Spiro star alongside Thomas and Roberts, with John Addis directing.
Premiere Date: September 22 on Apple TV+.

Starstruck” (Season 3)
The third season of this often-biting take on the romantic comedy returns and does so with a twist. Creator and star Rose Matafeo returns as Jessie, a young woman continually trying to find her footing in the world through her work, friends, and love life. However, this time, her love interest isn’t the actor Tom, played by Nikesh Patel, as season three is set two years after they’ve broken up (again.)
Premiere Date: September 28 on Max.

Gen V
The Boys” is a certified hit for Amazon, so the spinoff series, “Gen V,” seemed inevitable. Created by many of the same people behind “The Boys,” with Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke on board, the series follows a different group of young adult superheroes who are tested in battle royal challenges at a university run by the corrupt Vought International. The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizzie Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Derek Luh, London Thor, Asa Germann, and Shelley Conn
Premiere Date: September 29 on Prime Video.
