15 Films To See In September: ‘El Conde,’ ‘Henry Sugar,’ ‘The Creator’ & More

Reptile” 
Co-written by its star Benicio Del Toro, Grant Singer directs the story of a hardened detective who attempts to uncover the truth in a brutal murder case where nothing is as it seems and, by doing so, dismantles the illusions in his own life. The thriller stars Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake, Eric Bogosian, Alicia Silverstone, Domenick Lombardozzi, Frances Fisher, Ato Essandoh, Michael Carmen Pitt, Karl Glusman, and Matilda Lutz.
Release Date: In select theaters on September 29 and then streaming on October 6 on Netflix.

Saw X” 
The “Saw” series has shown some serious legs, considering the franchise’s first installment premiered almost 20 years ago. “Saw X” is the latest addition to the series, directed by Kevin Greutert. Both a direct sequel to the 2004 “Saw” and prequel to “Saw II,” the film stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, and Renata Vava
Release Date: In theaters September 29 via Lionsgate.

The Creator
Rogue One” and “Monsters” director Gareth Edwards returns with his latest science fiction film, “The Creator.” John David Washington and Gemma Chan star in the movie, co-written by Edwards and Chris Weitz. It takes place in a future impacted by a war between the human race and forces of artificial intelligence, as one man must hunt down and kill the Creator, who developed a weapon that could destroy mankind. Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney also star. 
Release Date: In theaters September 29 via 20th Century Studios.
