“The Last Thing He Told Me”
Jennifer Garner leads the cast in the new Apple TV+ drama series “The Last Thing He Told Me.” Helmed by “Where the Crawdads Sing” director Olivia Newman and based on the novel of the same name by Laura Dave, the series follows Garner’s Hannah who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter to uncover the truth behind her husband’s disappearance. Angourie Rice, Nikolaj Coster–Waldau, and Aisha Tyler also star.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on April 14 on Apple TV+.
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”
The Emmy award-winning comedy series from Amy Sherman-Palladino, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” returns for its fifth and final season. Rachel Brosnahan returns as Midge as she continues trying to define her path in the ’60s. Other returning cast members include Alex Bornstein, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, and Milo Ventimiglia.
Release Date: Season 5 premieres on April 14 on Amazon Prime Video.
“Barry”
The most stressful series that’s also technically a comedy returns for its fourth and final season. After the whirlwind finale, “Barry” arrives for its last outing after leaving viewers on a cliffhanger following Bill Hader’s Barry seemingly getting arrested. Created by Hader and Alec Berg, they’ve written themselves into a narrative corner making it more interesting how they’ll get out of it. Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, and Michael Irby all return.
Release Date: Season 4 premieres on April 16 on HBO.
“Mrs.Davis”
The latest from “Lost” and “The Leftovers” creator Damon Lindelof, “Mrs. Davis” offers a star vehicle for “Glow” star Betty Gilpin. Co-created by Tara Hernandez, the series follows Gilpin as a nun who confronts the power of artificial intelligence. Margo Martindale, Andy McQueen, Jake McDorman, Ben Chaplin, and more stars.
