Ghostface Killah actually named an album after his favorite comic book character Iron Man (one of Ghost’s aliases is Tony Stark – the super hero’s alter-ego) so he was pissed when he wasn’t initially invited to appear in the movie. Apparently that’s all been fixed – maybe because web-savy director Jon Favreau was listening? Rumor has it that the Fishscale lyricist will play a Sheihk living in Dubai. [URB/Rolling Stone]
The busy Andre 3000 is hard at work on a solo album, an Outkast album, reading a Sammy Davis Jr. script and appearing in two more upcoming films: The 1999 World Trade Organization riots, “Battle in Seattle” (with Charlize Theron and Woody Harrelson) and “Semi-Pro,” a basketball comedy with Will Ferrell and again… Woody Harrelson (guys, “White Man Can’t Jump” wasn’t successful funny, or believable. Harrelson a competent basketball shark? Puuullllease. The best part is that we already read this story two weeks ago and missed all this. Three cheers to skim reading!). [MTV]
