Jamie Foxx Joins Seth Gordon’s Workplace-Comedy ‘Horrible Bosses’

Jamie Foxx is set to follow his upcoming turn in Todd Phillip’s road-trip comedy “Due Date” with another star-studded comedy, this time in the form of Seth Gordon’s “Horrible Bosses.”

The project already boasts the likes of Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day in its cast for the story of three best friends who decide the best solution to their workplace frustrations is to kill each others’ bosses.

Foxx will play a scam artist tentatively titled Motherfucker Jones, who acts as a consultant to the protagonists about the murders with Aniston and Farrell lined up to play two of the three employers and Bateman and Day as the two of the three employees.

Scripting was done by Michael Markowitz with rewrites by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (the kid from “Freaks And Geeks”) in what will promisingly be Gordon’s first chance at helming something in his ballpark after following up his compelling “King Of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters” with the studio-friendly “Four Christmases.”
