If you’re a similar age to me (basically, anyone in high school during the mid-to-late-‘90s), there are a number of film anniversaries that are happening this year that really do make you feel old. But you can’t blame the filmmakers for that, right? It’s not their fault that they created films that have stood the test of time and remain favorites for many film fans. Thankfully, Paramount is here to remind you about the anniversaries of some ‘90s favorites, “Clueless” and “Ghost,” with some new Blu-ray releases that will dull the pain of aging. Hopefully, at least a little bit.
And in honor of Paramount’s upcoming releases, we’re thrilled to be giving away copies of both “Ghost” and “Clueless” to some of our lucky readers. For those unfamiliar, “Ghost” is celebrating its 30th anniversary and tells the story of a love that transcends life and death, as a woman reconnects with her dead partner through his ghostly apparition…and some steamy pottery making. The film stars the legendary Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. The film went on to earn 5 Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Original Score and Best Film Editing and winning Best Supporting Actress (for Whoopi Goldberg) and Best Original Screenplay.

Though five years young and without an Oscar nomination, “Clueless” is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a brand-new Blu-ray release to celebrate Amy Heckerling’s classic teen comedy. The film stars Alicia Silverstone as the bratty, spoiled teen, Cher, who has to navigate the very ‘90s world of the rich and famous in southern California. Though not as acclaimed as “Ghost,” “Clueless” is a true classic in the teen comedy genre and is constantly influencing films even today.
To win the Blu-ray version of both films, all you have to do is follow The Playlist on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter , tweet: “I want to win the ‘Ghost’/’Clueless’ Giveaway from @ThePlaylist. #WinThePlaylistContest,” and include the URL of this story.
