Mickey Rourke, Vincent Cassel & Alice Braga Set To Star In '11 Minutes'

Mickey Rourke is keeping the momentum on the self-titled comeback up by taking a role as a Geneva-based Gentleman’s club owner in Hany Abu-Assad’s adaptation of the Paulo Coehlo novel, “11 Minutes.” He is set to star along side French Thespian Vincent Cassel, who plays a music exec who falls into the grips of a serious S&M addiction that threatens to ruin his life and Alice Braga (“City of God” “I am Legend”) who is playing a scorned lover who becomes a high-priced call girl in Rourke’s club.

The film will be directed by Palestinian director Hany Abu-Assad whose recent highly controversial film “Paradise Now” has been highly praised and even won a Golden Globe for best foreign language film. Shooting is set to begin June 1st in Geneva and Brazil.
