David Fincher's 'Torso' Still Has A Shot?

Could the ever-evolving beef between Paramount and notoriously stubborn director David Fincher be winding down? According to Chud.com, Paramount appears to be planning on giving Fincher’s latest project, “Torso,” the greenlight. However, they’re suggesting that its still not about to go in front of the cameras any time soon.

With the option for the graphic novel set to expire in five days, on December 15th, we’ll soon find out if their relationship has been patched up, or if something more underhanded will happen.

Attached names to the project include Matt Damon, Rachael McAdams and Casey Affleck. Fincher and Paramount argued semi-publicly for his incessant disagreements with them over the running time of ‘Ben Button’ and the subsequent dropping of the “Heavy Metal” remake which he took to Sony.

We can’t be sure about any of this, but we will know by the 15th if Paramount actually wants to play with Fincher again.
