'A Journal For Jordan' Final Trailer: Denzel Washington Goes Behind The Camera To Direct Michael B. Jordan In A New Drama

Denzel Washington doesn’t direct many films. So, when you see a new feature from Washington behind the camera, you take notice. That’s why many people consider the upcoming romantic-drama, “A Journal for Jordan” an automatic awards contender.

As seen in the trailer for “A Journal for Jordan,” the film follows the true story of Sergeant Charles Monroe (played by Michael B. Jordan), as he writes in a journal for his unborn son while also deployed in Iraq. Through the journal, he goes through his entire relationship with Jordan’s mom, Dana (Chanté Adams), and how their love came to be. To say this is a tear-jerker of a story is an understatement.
