‘A Million Little Pieces’ Red Band Trailer: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Stars In The Adaptation Of The Controversial Best-Selling Novel

There’s a lot of drama surrounding the upcoming film “A Million Little Pieces,” and hardly any of it has to do with the actual film. Most of the intrigue revolving around the project has to do with the backstory of the inspiration for the film, author James Frey, who released a book of the same name and was quickly outed for making up stories and changing facts about his life story for the novel. Nevertheless, the story is so dramatic and well-constructed that it has now been turned into a film.

As seen in the new red-band trailer for “A Million Little Pieces,” the film is venturing into the world of addiction in a very raw, brutal way. Though the story might be fiction, it’s clear that the film wants everyone to understand the depths that addiction can lead people to over the course of their lives.

The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Juliette Lewis, Giovanni Ribisi, Charlie Hunnam, and Odessa Young. ‘Little Pieces’ is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, who co-wrote the script alongside her husband and star Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

“A Million Little Pieces” will arrive in theaters on December 6.

Here’s the synopsis:

An alcoholic and a drug addict, 23 year-old James has two options: treatment or death. After waking up on a plane with a smashed up face and no memory of the past few weeks, he heads to rehab where he discovers much more than detox and therapy. As James endures the white-knuckle journey of mending his broken body, he heals his broken soul by connecting with other kindred spirits who also yearn and fight for a better life.
