'Agatha: Coven Of Chaos': Aubrey Plaza The Latest To Join Cast Of 'WandaVision' Spinoff Series

Variety reports that Plaza joins Kathryn Hahn for the upcoming Marvel Studios series “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos” at Disney+. No details yet on who Plaza plays in the “WandaVision” spinoff, but Hahn headlines the show, returning as Agatha Harkness. Other recent castings include Emma Caufield Ford, reprising her “WandaVision” role as Dottie, and “Heartstopper” star Joe Locke.

Plaza’s casting marks a reunion of sorts for her and Hahn. They worked together on the NBC sitcom “Parks And Recreation,” which starred Plaza as apathetic intern April Ludgate. Hahn played political strategist Jen Barkley in about a dozen episodes of the series.

Besides “The White Lotus,” Plaza’s other current TV work includes voicework on the FXX show “Little Demon.” Recent films for Plaza include “Emily The Criminal,” “Spin Me Round,” and Guy Ritchie‘s yet-to-be-released “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.” She also has a starring role in Francis Ford Coppola‘s upcoming film “Megalopolis.”

“WandaVision” nabbed 23 Emmy nominations after its debut in early 2021, including one for Hahn for Best Supporting Actress In A Limited Series. So, will “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos” beat that number? With Plaza now part of the series cast, expect even more anticipation for this one.
