'Antichrist' Added To Edinburgh Film Festival, Michael Bay Apologizes To Korean 'Transformers' Fans For Tardiness

Less than a month at the box-office, Peter Docter’s “Up” is charting high enough to probably become the second-highest-grossing Pixar title at the domestic box-office after “Finding Nemo.” Meaning the film, which has already grossed, $187.4 million in the U.S., could reach the numbers of “The Incredibles,” which raked in, $261.4 million in 2004. “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” director Michael Bay arrived two hours late to the red carpet event in Korea with stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. The next day for the film’s press conference, Bay arrived 30 minutes late and members of the press staged a walk-out. Bay ‘s press people feels so bad about forcing fans and press to wait that long, he’s offered up an apology at the instance of his damage control reps who realize piracy is huge in places like Korea and they need all the goodwill they can get. Liz Meriwether, the writer behind, the 2008 The Black List endorsed, “Fuckbuddies” script, has sold her action comedy, “Honey Pot” to Paramount Pictures (who are buying up everything today?).
