Ben Stiller & Jonah Hill Say 'Aloha'

Jonah HillBen Stiller is sort of the comedy version of Brad Pitt, in the sense that if he enjoys the experience of working with someone on one project, chances are he'll do it again. And he seems to have found that in Jonah Hill. The actor first popped up in a little cameo in "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," and they both had voice roles in "Megamind" (so did Pitt, for what it's worth) but it's next week's "The Watch" that sees them finally sharing considerable screen time. And it looks like Stiller had a blast and wants to do it again.

THR reports that Stiller and Hill are attached to "Aloha," a comedy being picked up by Fox, and the talent around are familiar to both actors. Nicholas Stoller (who worked with Hill on "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Get Him To The Greek") wrote the script, that will be directed by Stiller fave Shawn Levy (both "Night At The Museum" movies, and a producer on "The Watch"). The logline is being kept under wraps, but as the title indicates, it's said to be a Hawaiian set comedy.

All of this is pretty early with scheduling and script approval and all that stuff needing to be sorted out. But if "The Watch" opens strong next weekend, we presume everyone will want to get rolling on this sooner rather than later, and will find space in their busy calendars (Stiller is currently in post-production on his latest directorial and starring effort "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty"; Levy is shooting "The Intership" and next month Hill rolls on "The Wolf Of Wall Street"). Hang loose.
