'Blood On Snow': Tom Hardy & Aaron Taylor-Johnson To Star In New Thriller From Director Cary Fukunaga

It would seem as if Cary Fukunaga’s ready to make a comeback after reports of misconduct with women surfaced. And his comeback project, “Blood on Snow,” is headlined by two of the biggest stars working today.

According to Deadline, Cary Fukunaga is set to direct an adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s novel, “Blood on Snow.” Leading the cast of this film are none other than Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Tom Hardy. The film tells the story of a hitman who is contracted by his boss to take out his boss’ wife. However, the killer’s own complicated moral code prevents him from doing this which puts him in the crosshairs of his boss. Nesbo is on board to write the script.

The film marks the first feature from Fukunaga since the 2021 James Bond film, “No Time to Die.” Since then, he has directed episodes of the acclaimed WWII series, “Masters of the Air.” However, as mentioned, shortly after the release of “No Time to Die,” Fukunaga was the subject of accusations of sexual misconduct, which made him retreat from the public eye for a while.

Speaking of Bond, Taylor-Johnson has long been rumored to take over the 007 role. However, before that might happen, he’ll be seen in this year’s superhero film, “Kraven the Hunter.” Hardy is in a similar situation, with his next film being the superhero film, “Venom: The Last Dance.”

Filming is expected to begin later this year for “Blood on Snow,” so we can probably expect it to arrive in theaters next year.
