After working on the hit film, “MaXXXine,” it appears Ti West and Halsey are ready to collaborate yet again. This time, they’re working on a series, “Bloodlust,” coming to Prime Video.

According to Variety, Halsey is set to create, write, and produce “Bloodlust” for Amazon Prime Video. She’s bringing along West, who will serve as producer and director for the series. As mentioned, the duo previously worked together on “MaXXXine,” the third part of West’s “X” trilogy. No details are known about the new project other than the fact that it’s expected to be a dark comedy.

Prior to her work with West, Halsey was primarily known for her work as a pop star. She had previously worked on some feature films, including “Sing 2” and “Americana.” But yeah, Halsey is one of the most recognizable names in music today. And now, she’s venturing into the world of writing. We’ll see how that goes for her.
West is a filmmaker who has primarily stayed in the horror genre for his work. As mentioned, he wrote and directed the “X” trilogy that includes “X,” “Pearl,” and “MaXXXine.” He’s also worked on films such as “House of the Devil,” “The Innkeepers,” and “The Sacrament.”
It’s unclear when we might see “Bloodlust” arrive on Prime Video. But hopefully it comes sooner than later. We are excited to see what Halsey can do.
