Twihards are going to have their patience severely tested. After experiencing the shortest gap between films with less a than a year falling between “New Moon” and “Eclipse,” Team Edward and Team Jacob will first half to wait a year and a half for “Breaking Dawn: Part 1” to hit theaters on November 18, 2011.
For any devotees hoping Summit would spare them another long wait, that will not be the case. The studio has set “Breaking Dawn: Part 2” to land a full year later on November 16, 2012. We really don’t care except that it means it adds another 12 months of endless ‘Twilight’ news and rumors clogging up our Google Reader.
The films will be shot back-to-back this fall with Bill Condon at the helm. And for any concerned parents wondering if the last chapter will be an R-rated affair due to the latter entry’s increase in gore, blood and sex, don’t worry. This thing is gonna be PG-13 all the way. [ComingSoon]
