If there’s one year-end list that’s always going to strike its own distinct, somewhat WTF path, it’s the list from Cahiers du Cinema. The cinephile magazine can’t be swayed an awards season campaigns, refuses to be taken in by glossy Hollywood productions, and puts the art firmly in arthouse. Their top ten of 2015 reflects their dedication to standing alone.
