Got a Tip?

It’s Love Our Way With ‘Call Me By Your Name’ & ‘I, Tonya’ [Adjust Your Tracking Podcast]

When cinema makes you feel this much, of course, then, it’s a good thing…

On this episode of Adjust Your Tracking, Joe and I come of age (again) at the movies; we cut open our chests—”mother!” style—to reveal our still-beating, but wounded hearts as we praise the masterful new film “Call Me By You Name.” Don’t worry too much, though, we’ll be alright in the end, stronger for the experience of falling in and out of love, just like the lead characters in director Luca Guadagnino‘s (“A Bigger Splash,” “I Am Love“) latest, and in our opinion, best, film to date. The movie has been hyped up all year, but for good reason. Sometimes, the hype is justified.

We also find time to discuss Disney‘s continued dominance in the industry, and we fear it’s only going to get worse as they keep trying to grow into an unbeatable behemoth. Oh yeah, “Star Wars” comes up too. On the back half of this episode, we get into “I, Tonya,” another fascinating, stylish and clever take on the biopic. So many good movies to discuss, so little time.
