Dave Chappelle, Nicole Kidman Join Long List of 90th Oscar Presenters

With only five more days until this year’s Oscar telecast the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has finally revealed it’s last set of presenters to join host Jimmy Kimmel on the Dolby Theater stage. And, as you’d expect, many of them are former winners with new films just around the corner.

Stars with upcoming projects to promote now include Emily Blunt (“Mary Poppins Returns”), Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (“Ocean’s 8”), Dave Chappelle (“A Star is Born”), Eugenio Derbez (“Overboard”), Ansel Elgort (“The Goldfinch”), two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda (“Book Club”), two-time Oscar winner Jodie Foster (“Hotel Artemis”), Eiza Gonzalez (“Alita: Battle Angel”), Ashley Judd (“A Dog’s Way Home”), Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (“Boy Erased”), Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey (“White Boy Rick”), Oscar winner Helen Mirren (“Anna”), Oscar winner Rita Moreno (Netflix’s “One Day At A Time”), Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (“Little Monsters”) and Oscar winner Christopher Walken.

They join a long list of previously announced presenters such as Gal Gadot, Mark Hamill, Armie Hammer, Oscar Isaac, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Gina Rodriguez, Eva Marie Saint, Wes Studi, Kelly Marie Tran, Zendaya, Mahershala Ali, Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Laura Dern, Jennifer Garner, Greta Gerwig, Tiffany Haddish, Tom Holland, Kumail Nanjiani, Margot Robbie, Emma Stone and Daniela Vega.

It’s still unclear who will present Best Actress with Casey Affleck bowing out this year, but at this point our guess is Eva Marie Saint or a number of former Best Actress winners (Saint, Fonda, Foster, etc.) jointly hand out the Oscar statue.  As always, the producers attempt to keep the Best Picture presenter as secret for as long as humanly possible (it would also be appropriate if some of the aforementioned former Actress winners present this honor together).

The 90th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 will be broadcast live on the ABC Television Network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Look for full coverage on The Playlist.
