‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’: Here’s Your First Look At Jeremy Allen White As Springsteen In Upcoming Biopic

Over the past couple of months, we’ve begun to see ads and trailers for James Mangold’s Bob Dylan biopic, “A Complete Unknown.” But that’s not the only biopic on the calendar to feature an iconic American musician. We also have “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which focuses on New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen. And now we have our first look at Jeremy Allen White as the man himself.

Much like the aforementioned “A Complete Unknown,” we have to reserve judgment on White’s resemblance to Bruce Springsteen until we see some actual footage from the film. So much of what makes The Boss so iconic is with his voice and mannerisms. These are things that a picture just can’t really convey. 

This is perhaps the biggest project yet for White. After starring in the TV series “Shameless,” he really hit the big time thanks to his current series, “The Bear.” On the film side of things, his most recent film is “The Iron Claw,” which was more of an ensemble piece. But for “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the pressure is most definitely on White. Joining White in the cast are Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, and Johnny Cannizzaro

“Deliver Me From Nowhere” is directed by Scott Cooper. The filmmaker is best known for features such as “Crazy Heart,” “Hostiles,” “Antlers,” and “Black Mass”.

A release date has yet to be announced, but production is now underway on “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which will likely release in 2025. You can see the first look image below:
