As seen in the trailer for “Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge,” the film not only dives headfirst into the life story of von Furstenberg, who experienced plenty of ups and downs, but it also shows the impact she’s had, not only on fashion but also feminism. The film is directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Trish Dalton. Obaid-Chinoy is a name that has really been on the rise lately, as she also directed episodes of “Ms. Marvel” and is signed to direct a “Star Wars” film. But prior to all of that, she really made a name for herself as a documentarian.

“Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge” will debut on Hulu on June 25 after its world premiere as this year’s Opening Night film at Tribeca. You can watch the trailer below.
