Chadwick Boseman, Emilia Clarke Added As 2019 Oscars Presenters

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced a new round of presenters for the host-less Oscars on Feb. 24 and some names were more impressive than others.

Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Oscar nominee Angela Bassett, “Black Panther” himself Chadwick Boseman, Emilia “Queen of Dragons” Clarke, “She should be president of the Academy” Laura Dern, Bringing “Shaft” back Samuel L. Jackson, “Beale Street’s” Stephan James, Keegan-Michael Key “and Peele”, “Wait till you see me in ‘Native Son’KiKi Layne, James “I’m Still Professor X” McAvoy, Two-time Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy, “Aquaman” himself Jason Momoa and Sarah “I do more than ‘American Horror Story’Paulson.

These actors join the previously announced Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Tina Fey, Allison Janney, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman, Amy Poehler, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson and Constance Wu.

In a release show producers, Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss noted, “The array of talent anchoring the show this year has brought some of the most indelible moments in recent cinematic memory to audiences around the world. They join together to reconnect us with the nominees, their tremendous movies, and outstanding performances.”

With slightly less than two weeks before the show more “big” names are expected to be announced in the days ahead.

The 91st Oscars will be handed out live at 5 PM PT, 8 PM ET on ABC.
