The sweat, the pulse, the energy, and most importantly, the music — these were the ingredients that fuelled the disco/house/garage/electronic scene in Europe in the ‘90s, and it forms the backdrop to "Eden," Mia Hansen-Løve‘s love letter to the era. And today, we have an exclusive clip from the film.
Félix de Givry, Pauline Etienne and Vincent Macaigne lead the movie that follows Paul, who comes of age in the underground scene, forms a DJ collective, and becomes an integral part of the music movement. And as you’ll see in the scene below, Paul has his own tastes and opinions, which makes him stand out in the club crowd and forge new friendships, as he continues to find ways to satisfy his passion for electronic music.
Also featuring Brady Corbet, Laura Smet and Greta Gerwig, "Eden" opens on June 19th. The scene below features "Follow Me" by Aly-Us and you can check out all the music from the film right here.
