‘Fairfax’ Trailer: Season 2 Embraces Middle School Crushes And Ride-Or-Die Friendships

How well do you remember middle school? Lucky enough for you, “Fairfax” allows you to relive all the fun and chaos of being a teenager. Season one of the adult animated comedy introduced us to the modern middle school experience, complete with awkward crushes and embarrassing parents.

Amazon Prime has announced that “Fairfax” is returning for a second season, with a new trailer revealed and plenty of epic moments to look forward to. From creators, Matthew Hausfater (“Terminator 3”), and writers Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley, “Fairfax” focuses on a group of teens from middle school and their quest for fame on Fairfax Avenue.

“Fairfax” season two will be executively produced by Riley, Hausfater, and Buchsbaum. With additional support from Jon Zimelis (“@Midnight”), Jason U. Nadler (“@Midnight”), Peter A. Knight (“Bojack Horseman”), Chris Prynoski (“Big Mouth”), Ben Kalina (“Arlo The Alligator Boy”), and Antonio Canobbio (“Big Mouth”).

The second season will feature more of the gang’s shenanigans as they navigate the world of crushes and adventures with your ride-or-die crew.

Here’s the official synopsis: 

The gang-gang is back for more fun in Season Two of this irreverent animated comedy following the misadventures of four middle schoolers looking to earn their place in the culture. It’s a modern look at the timeless struggle to fit in and stand out, hold on to your ride-or-die crew, and kiss your first crush – who may or may not be A.I. 

The cast from the first season of “Fairfax” will be returning, this includes Kiersey Clemons as Derica, Skyler Gisondo as Dale, Peter Kim as Benny, and Jaboukie Young-White as Truman. 

The second season also promises its array of guest stars, with big names like Ben Schwartz, Billy Porter, Guy Fieri, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Zoey Deutch all set to appear.

All eight episodes will be available to stream worldwide on June 10, exclusively on Amazon Prime. Watch the new trailer below.
