‘Feud’ Season 2 First Look: Naomi Watts, Demi Moore, Diane Lane & More Star In FX’s Series Directed By Gus Van Sant

Ryan Murphy loves anthology storytelling. He’s made a career out of it, thanks to his various seasons of “American Horror Story,” “American Crime Story,” and “Monster.” But let’s not forget what might be one of his most acclaimed series, “Feud.” Debuting in 2017, “Feud: Bette and Joan” was a hit for Murphy, and there were more seasons planned. However, it’s been more than six years and we have yet to see Season 2. Well, it appears “Feud” is set to return in 2024 and we have our first look at the new cast doing battle.

FX has released first-look photos of “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,” the upcoming limited series that is expected to arrive in 2024. As the title suggests, the new season of the acclaimed drama focuses on the battle between Truman Capote and his female socialite friends he dubbed “Swans.” The series is written by Jon Robin Baitz and directed by Gus Van Sant. “Feud” Season 2 stars Tom Hollander as the iconic Capote with Naomi Watts, Chloë Sevigny, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Calista Flockhart, and Diane Lane as the so-called Swans. Treat Williams, who sadly passed away in June, rounds out the cast in what is his final role.

The new limited series is expected to explore the relationship writer Capote had with his group of socialite friends. Things seemed to be going well with them until the author wrote a piece in Esquire titled “La Côte Basque, 1965.” In that piece, which is written as fictional, it’s clear he was using real-life situations with his swans and airing out all of their dirty laundry and gossip. As you might expect, the socialites didn’t react kindly to Capote shedding light on their personal drama.

Again, no release date has been set for “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,” but you can expect it on FX and Hulu in 2024. You can see the new photos below:
