First Pictures From 'Aquaman' Will Make You Weak In The Knees

Sorry ladies and gents, but it’s about to get steamy in here!

Warner Bros. and DC have teamed up with Entertainment Weekly to set your computer screens on fire with the hotness that is “Aquaman.” Sure, we don’t have a trailer yet. No, we don’t have any plot details. And yes, WB/DC have done nothing but disappoint us over the years (minus “Wonder Woman,” which was pretty good). But still, there’s one thing we know for sure, thanks to these pictures – “Aquaman” will be the single hottest superhero film to ever grace your eyeballs.

In an exclusive first look, EW has supplied ready and willing fans with some new pictures of a very wet Jason Momoa, a very red-haired Amber Heard, a very blonde Patrick Wilson, and a “hey is that really her?” Nicole Kidman. Oh yeah, and there’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II looking at a helmet that he’ll don to become the incredibly fearsome Black Manta. It’s okay. I’ll give you a moment to peruse.

If you’re able to calm yourself down after looking at the buff-tacular Aquaman in action, director James Wan also talks about why you shouldn’t really consider his film a DCEU film (but it totally is, FYI), “The water world my movie takes place in is so separate and so far apart from previous DC movies it’s like I’m making my own sci-fi fantasy film. This is a whole new underwater world nobody has seen before in live action.”

And those who still want to make fun of Aquaman as a silly superhero, WB/DC has got some news for you! This ain’t your Dad’s Aquaman. No, sir! This Aquaman has long hair, a beard, sick-ass tattoos, muscles for days, and rides around on super tough guy “sea dragons.” Definitely not those lame, little seahorses like in the cartoons. I mean, what would you expect anything less from the badass who surfed an alien through a building?

There’s only one thing to say after letting these images seep into your soul and make you weak in anticipation of the impending trailer – “MY MAN!”
