Got a Tip?

First Look: Batman’s Tactical Batsuit From ‘Justice League’

So Zack Snyder’sJustice League” has nearly finished shooting. Or at least the scenes with Ben Affleck’s Batman character are nearly done. But can Warner Bros. course correct enough to fix their DC Films franchise? They’ve already received two black eyes this year with “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” and “Suicide Squad.” Sure, both made a ton of money — the latter crossing $700 million worldwide recently — but they also both very costly. And critically, they were either met with brutal reviews (‘Batman v Superman‘ —Ben Affleck was apparently “humiliated” by the reception) and, at best, mixed notices (“Suicide Squad”).

We already know ‘BvS’ was so poorly received that WB had to essentially demote all their producers and bring in ringers like DC comics guru Geoff Johns. But with Zack Snyder still at the helm, can “Justice League” fight off the stench of ‘BvS’ and “Suicide Squad”? It’s really hard to say and recent set photos that Snyder has released don’t look like the optimistic, hopeful and lighthearted tone WB are after.

Today, Snyder revealed the “tactical batsuit” whatever that means, but we suppose its slightly different from the Frank Miller-inspired suit from the original film. Frankly, it doesn’t look much different from the dark, always-rainy and grim “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” But maybe you feel different? See below and weigh in in the comment section.
