Prime Video’s hit superhero series, “The Boys,” features a huge scope, as it focuses on a world where superheroes are not only real but are the biggest celebrities on the planet. Oh yeah, and they’re employed by a Disney-esque megacorporation. But that show, while epic in nature, only focuses on the established supes, the ones who are already household names. The first spinoff, “Gen V,” on the other hand, takes a look at the next generation of superheroes and the drama surrounding them.

As seen in the teaser for “Gen V,” the series takes place at a university for young, up-and-coming superpowered individuals. This cutthroat school is where the best and brightest superpowered young people come to hopefully train and become the next major world heroes. And as you might expect, considering this is a spinoff of the ultra-violent “The Boys,” things get bloody.
