The American Film Institute announced its annual year-end list of top 10 films and television shows this afternoon. The mix of industry professionals and select press members usually selects around seven to eight of Oscar’s selections for Best Picture. Last year, for instance, they selected seven missing out on eventually nominees “Hidden Figures” and “Lion” (although the former may have not qualified).
This year’s selections for AFI’s Movies Of The Year are as follows:
