Taylor Swift, H.E.R., Billie Eilish Lead 2021 Grammy Award Winners

The 2021 Grammy Awards were handed out in a hybrid-live ceremony in Los Angeles hosted by “The Daily Show’s” Trevor Noah. In a night that spread the wealth, H.E.R. surprised many by winning Song of the Year for the very deserving “I Can’t Breathe,” Taylor Swift took Album of the Year for “Folklore” and Billie Eilish won Record of the Year for “Everything I Wanted.”

Eilish, who also won Song Written For Media for “No Time To Die,” is the first back-to-back winner in the Record of the Year category since U2 pulled it off in 2002.

Among other major awards, Megan Thee Stallion took Best New Artist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance with Beyonce for “Savage” ft. Beyonce. Harry Styles took Best Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar.” Dua Lipa won Best Pop Album for “Future Nostalgia.”

Beyonce also won R&B Song for “Black Parade” and Music Video for “Brown Skinned Girl” alongside her daughter Blue Ivy. Those three wins made history as she set the record for most individual Grammy wins with 28 overall.

In awards handed out before the telecast, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Fiona Apple, Body Count, “JoJo Rabbit,” Tiffany Haddish, Rachel Maddow, The Strokes, and Brittany Howard, were among the early winners.

The following 2021 Grammy Awards were handed out on March 14, 2021.
