'The Hummingbird Project' Trailer: Jesse Eisenberg & A Balding Alexander Skarsgård Enter A War With An Evil Salma Hayek

Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgård play some unlikely cousins attempting to outsmart the system and strike it rich in the new film “The Hummingbird Project.” And all that stands in their way is an evil Salma Hayek.

In the first trailer for “The Hummingbird Project,” we meet the duo of Eisenberg and Skarsgård, who are attempting to drill a hole directly from the New York Stock Exchange to their location hundreds of miles away. Why? They want to reduce the latency of the stock quotes by 1 millisecond, allowing them to make millions of dollars in the process. Standing in their way is a ruthless businesswoman that has decided to take their idea and improve it. What you’re left with is two sides fighting it out over who can make the most money in the shortest amount of time, with sabotage being used left and right.

Oh yeah, and did we mention the trailer features a little scene with a balding Skarsgård doing a dance in a hallway while wearing a bathrobe? While only a few seconds of the trailer, that scene is more than enough to encourage any filmgoer to give this movie a look. Skarsgård is known as one of the most handsome men in Hollywood, so to see him as a computer nerd doing the worst dance ever, is flat-out hilarious.

Joining Eisenberg, Skarsgård, and Hayek in the cast is Michael Mando, who you may not know by name but has been a standout actor in a variety of projects, including the incredible “Better Call Saul” and “Orphan Black.”

“The Hummingbird Project” is expected to hit theaters on March 15.
