'I Want Your Sex': Cooper Hoffman To Star Opposite Olivia Wilde In Gregg Araki's New Film

After making his debut in “Licorice Pizza,” it appears Cooper Hoffman has a bright future ahead. Not only did he appear in “Wildcat” just last year, but he has two films likely to come out over the next six months, “The Old Guy” and the highly anticipated “Saturday Night.” Now, it appears he’s landed a lead role in the forthcoming drama, “I Want Your Sex.”

According to Black Bear, Cooper Hoffman is expected to star opposite Olivia Wilde in Gregg Araki’s new film, “I Want Your Sex.” If you’re a fan of Araki’s work, it should come as no surprise that “I Want Your Sex” is being described as a “provocative film.” The plot follows a young guy (Hoffman) who gets a job working for a renowned artist (Wilde). His dreams come true as the artist picks him to be her sexual muse. But obviously, things don’t turn out exactly as he wants.

It’s been a couple of years since we’ve seen Wilde star in a film. She last appeared in films such as “Babylon” and “Don’t Worry Darling,” which she also directed. Her last sizable role came in 2019 with the Clint Eastwood feature, “Richard Jewell.”

There’s no anticipated release date set for “I Want Your Sex.” However, filming is expected to begin this October, which would put a late-2025 release date as an option.
