Every clue gets them closer to the truth. Netflix‘s latest Harlan Coben miniseries adaptation, “I Will Find You,” stars Sam Worthington in the role of a falsely accused man who ends up imprisoned for the murder of his son as he discovers he may still be alive in a desperate attempt to rescue the boy, who may still be alive out there, he escapes from prison.
Thankfully, a new series trailer has dropped online, giving would-be audiences a good idea of what to expect from the thriller project, which is coming to the streaming service later this month.
Also, among the cast are actors Britt Lower (“Severance) as the co-lead that helps Worthingon’s character escape and track down his son, Milo Ventimiglia (“Land of Bad”), Erin Richards (“Gotham”), Clancy Brown (“The Punisher”), Jonathan Tucker (“Westworld”), Madeleine Stowe (“IT: Welcome To Derry”), and Logan Browning (“Dear White People”).
The show’s official logline via Netflix:
Wrongfully imprisoned for murdering his own son, a father sets out on a desperate rescue mission after learning the boy may still be alive.
Worthington, of course, is best known to audiences for his lead role as Jake Sully in the wildly successful “Avatar” films, which are expected to see two more installments come together if director/producer James Cameron is able to shorten their post-production window and get costs down, per requests by Disney.
Filmmaker Brad Anderson (known for work like “The Machinist,” “Pacemaker,” “Almost Human,” “Boardwalk Empire”) is part of the directing team alongside Maja Vrvilo, Adam Davidson, and Maggie Kelly, with episodes hailing from creator and showrunner Robert Hull (“Veronica Mars”).
Check out the new series trailer for “I Will Find You” below, as the Netflix exclusive miniseries will debut on June 18.
