‘Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Final Trailer: Chaos And Tensions Rise

With just eleven days away from release and anticipation building for “Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes,” 20th Century Studios has dropped one final trailer for franchise fans to feast their eyes on before the full movie hits theaters on May 10, 2024.

Directed by “Maze Runner” filmmaker Wes Ball, the film serves as a standalone sequel to 2017’s “War for the Planet of the Apes,” which closed out the initial trilogy of films that began with “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” and was then proceeded by “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.” It’s the fourth installment in the reboot series and the tenth film overall.

In the film, ape civilizations have developed from the oasis to which Caesar led his fellow apes over 300 years following the events of ‘War,’ while humans have reverted into a savage, primitive state. The chimpanzee hunter Noa sets out on a dangerous trip with a human girl named Mae to determine the destiny for both humans and apes when the ape king Proximus Caesar, armed with weapons built from forgotten human technology, perverts Caesar’s teachings to subjugate other clans.

The film’s cast comprises Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, William H. Macy, Travis Jeffery, Lydia Peckham, and Neil Sandilands. Eka Darville, Ras-Samuel Weld A’abzgi, Sara Wiseman, and Dichen Lachman will also appear in the film in undisclosed roles.

“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will be released in theatres on May 10, 2024, via Warner Bros. You can check out the final trailer here.
