Knives Out, Parasite And Euphoria Among ACE Eddie Awards Nominees

The American Cinema Editors announced the nominees for the 2020 ACE Awards and even with two categories there were a number of surprises.  On the Feature Film – Comedy side “Knives Out,” “Dolemite is My Name,” “Jojo Rabbit,” “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” and “The Farewell” earned nominations.  For Feature Film – Drama the field features “Ford v Ferrari,” “The Irishman,” “Marriage Story,” “Joker” and “Parasite.”

Intriguing omissions on the feature side included “Uncut Gems,” “Bombshell,” “The Report” and “Little Women.”  Additionally, the three Animated Film contenders were “Frozen 2,” “I Lost My Body” and “Toy Story 4.”

Television nominees over four narrative categories included “Killing Eve,” “Russian Doll,” “Chicago Med,” “Watchmen,” “Game of Thrones,” “Euphoria” and “Schitt’s Creek.”

The 70th Annual ACE Eddie Awards will be handed out on Jan. 17.
