Last summer, Maria Bamford joined the throng of must-binge Netflix shows with “Lady Dynamite.” The comedy, loosely based on her own life, was an instant hit, moving beyond diehard fans and capturing a larger audience. Now Bamford is back for a whole new round of episodes, of everything is turning upside down (yep, just like on “Stranger Things“).
This new season sees Maria embarking on her greatest adventure ever — love. Maria will use all the wrong lessons learned in childhood as she navigates her new relationship status with family, friends and pugs. She also lands a new gig at a streaming network that may or may not be owned by Elon Musk. Series regulars Fred Melamed, Ana Gasteyer, Mo Collins, Mary Kay Place and Ed Begley, Jr. are back, with plenty of guests stopping by including Andy Samberg, David Spade, Fred Armisen, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate, Judd Apatow, Judy Greer, and Weird Al Yankovic.
