‘Loki’: Marvel Studios’ Disney+ Series Will Debut In Spring 2021

Marvel Studios has just brought the house down at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and while the news might be mainly focused on the new slate of films (come on, that “Thor: Love and Thunder” logo is freaking amazing!), there’s still plenty of news about TV that was announced, including the upcoming “Loki” series.

Marvel Studios announced that the “Loki,” the Disney+ streaming series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will arrive Spring 2021. And yes, don’t worry, it’ll star Tom Hiddleston as the title character. The real question, of course, is how Hiddleston returns, but Marvel gave a big reveal.

The logo for “Loki” offers a bit of a clue, as it looks to be pieced together from various sources. Marvel confirmed as much, explaining in their press release. “To the delight of the audience, Hiddleston answered the biggest question from “’Avengers: Endgame’: “Where did Loki go when he took the Space Stone?”

Of course, we should look at 2019 as a bit of a breather. If these SDCC announcements are any indication, it appears that new MCU material is going to be coming fast and furious beginning in 2020. So, while “Loki” is still over a year from debuting on Disney+, by the time the series actually debuts, we’ll have plenty of new MCU material that will have already come out.
