Got a Tip?

Mads Mikkelsen Obeys ‘First Law,’ ‘Troll Hunter’ Director Nabs Martin Sheen For ‘Autopsy’ & More

Mads Mikkelsen

Mads Mikkelsen will probably do something awesome in brewing true story tale “First Law.” Set to be directed by Diego Rafecas, and co-starring Armand Assante and Adriana Barraza, the Argentina set story follows “two brothers—one under the wing of a shaman, the other working for a corrupt mega-corporation—who must choose where their loyalties lie when their ancestral home faces destruction.” No word yet on when production might begin, but it’s probably safe to say Mikkelsen will be the face of that evil company. Troll Hunter” director Andre Øvredal has tapped Martin Sheen to star in “The Autopsy of Jane Doe.” The psychological horror flick, penned by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing, follows “a small-town mortician who receives a mysterious homicide victim, a beautiful young ‘Jane Doe,’ with no apparent cause of death.” Production will begin this summer. And speaking of horror, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” director Jim Gillespie is back with “Take Down.” Jeremy Sumpter, Phoebe Tonkin and Sebastian Koch will star in the young adult thriller that follows the spoiled offspring of international billionaires, sent to a tough-love school in the remote wilderness by their parents in the hope of shaping them up. When they are taken hostage and held for a billion dollar ransom by a group of clever and well-armed kidnappers, the kids are forced to try to save themselves. Rich kids in peril! Sounds…fun?
