Remember this shot in “Transformers 2” of Megan Fox bending awkwardly over a motorcycle in most uncomfortable position ever employed in the name of vehicle repair? While it didn’t exactly sell Fox as a mechanic, it did highlight one her major attributes and became fanboy fap material in an instant.
Well, if you were one of those guys caught with one hand down your pants with your BluRay of “Transformers 2” on pause, you’ve probably already seen Michael Bay’s fifth ad for Victoria’s Secret.
The ninety second spot is so on the nose, for a brief second, we thought it was a parody. The concept of the ad is nothing new, playing into male fantasies right from start, and throwing the notion that women are the ones who actually wear bras right out the window. For a minute and a half, we got obnoxiously loud music, and really hot girls wearing expensive lingerie. No more, no less. The spot is almost like a Lonely Island idea of a lingerie ad. All that’s missing is a boat and T-Pain. Michael Bay shoots girls on an airstrip! A girl on a motorcycle (seriously)! A girl playing pool! Girls on a fake movie set! Girls in a fancy mansion! Three girls and a big fiery explosion (again, seriously)!
