Launching today, MUBI Remix is a new app that will allow film fans the chance to send custom video messages using clips and music from some of your favorite films. To use the app, once you download it, of course, you just have to open it, type a message, choose a score, and then MUBI Remix does the rest. Make your friends laugh or annoy them with silly messages using some of the best films around, the choice is yours.

As mentioned, MUBI is a streaming service that is very different than Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, or really, anything else. Instead of packing thousands of films randomly in its library, the service curates its library to ensure that every option you choose will be top quality and something you’ll be interested in watching.

Recently, MUBI because the exclusive streaming location for Cathy Yan’s Sundance breakout debut, “Dead Pigs.” And next week, the service is also going to begin streaming “Epicentro,” a documentary that wowed audiences at last year’s Sundance and took home the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize. And if you’re interested in something a bit more unusual, MUBI also recently added two Takashi Miike films to its library, with a new restoration of “Zebraman” and the classic thriller, “Audition.” Honestly, there really is something for everyone, and you won’t have to sift through a bunch of duds to get to the good stuff.

So, once you download MUBI Remix and make a bunch of silly messages out of classic films, you can then actually immerse yourself in those movies through the streaming platform.

MUBI Remix is available now on the iOS app store. And the MUBI streaming platform can be accessed at MUBI.com.
