Got a Tip?

New Images Debut From ‘Flight,’ ‘Not Fade Away,’ ‘Trouble With The Curve’ & More

nullAs the fall movie season approaches, with the big film festivals bleeding into the Oscar crush and blockbuster Christmas season, we'll be seeing the marketing machine at various studios start to churn into overdrive, most likely coughing sooty smoke and belching flames. And just recently a host of new photos have been unleashed for a number of this fall's more prestigious pics, including Robert Zemeckis' "Flight," David Chase's "Not Fade Away," Brit dramedy "Song For Marion," and the Clint Eastwood vehicle "Trouble with the Curve."

Hey U Guys has a couple of new "Flight" images – mostly of Denzel Washington, as the drug-addled, booze-swilling version of Sully Sullenberger. The film, which will be the closing night screening at the New York Film Festival, markers the first live action movie Robert Zemeckis has made in nearly a dozen years, and we couldn't be more excited. null

nullSpeaking of the New York Film Festival, the official site has some new photos from David Chase's big screen debut "Not Fade Away," which will serve as the festival's Centerpiece film. "The Sopranos" creator's film centers on a young garage rock band from New Jersey who aspire to greatness after watching the Rolling Stones on television. The photos showcase the film's sixties period setting, with one showing off "Sopranos" alum James Gandolfini (who plays the father of one of the kids).

null"Song for Marion," a British comedy/drama about an old dude who joins the local choir after his wife is stricken with illness, has a couple of new photos courtesy of the Weinstein Company's official site (they're the film's stateside distributor). The photos showcase an even-more-grizzled-than-usual Terence Stamp, with Gemma Arterton showing up for one photo. It both looks and sounds like the kind of movie you go with your mom where, at the end of the movie, you're probably holding hands and crying and having the kind of breakthrough that years of family therapy couldn't provide.null

nullAnd last but certainly not least, is a new photo from the Clint Eastwood baseball drama "Trouble with the Curve" (again courtesy of Kinopoisk). In this dynamic shot Eastwood is shaking hands with Justin Timberlake (Eastwood is a baseball scout, Timberlake his younger rival). We're sure there's some subtext or narrative significance to this but as far as photos go, it's pretty weak. Not pictured: invisible Obama.

"Flight" opens on November 2nd; "Not Fade Away" opens this fall; "Song for Marion" also opens sometime this fall; and "Trouble with the Curve" opens on September 21st.
