With most of the movies of the fall season buttoning up audiences with serious themes and stories, you may feel the need to let you hair down a bit. And Walter Salles' "On the Road" just may be the ticket you're looking for. The adapation of the famed Jack Kerouac book is on the last legs of the festival circuit before it lands in theaters, and a few more pics are here to get your inner beat poet excited.
Led by the trio of Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart, the movie attempts the carefree, optimsitic, sexually liberated nature of the book and times, and does so with uneven success. But the actors themselves are all solid, and here we see new snaps of Stewart as Marylou and Hedlund as Dean Moriarty with Kirsten Dunst as his long-suffering wife Camille. And then there's Viggo Mortensen as the William S. Burroughs surrogate Old Bull Lee.
