With a roughly $1 billion target to hit, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” has to bring it, and they’re certainly swinging for the fences. The soundtrack is led by none other than Coldplay, and the marketing machine has been turning hard since the beginning of the year, and now it’s heading into the home stretch.
A batch of new images (via EW), a final poster and a featurette to convince you to see this in IMAX, have all dropped for the movie. In this mega-sequel, Jennifer Lawerence is back as Katniss Everdeen, who again is separated from her friends and family to go on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. But rebellion is brewing and once again she’ll have to fight for her life or something (I haven’t read the books), with Peeta and Gale once again there to spur feelings.
Co-starring a pretty ridonkulous cast including newcomers Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright and more, ‘Catching Fire’ blazes up on November 22nd.
