With “Thunderbolts*” in the rearview mirror, the MCU‘s Phase 5 comes to an end. But Phase 6 kicks off in just two weeks with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which brings Marvel‘s First Family into the long-running cinematic universe for the very first time
And Marvel Studios has a new trailer for the film out today to build further hype for the film. There are a couple of news shots in this one, so Marvel fans should check this one out to pinpoint things to speculate about.
Set on an alternate, retro-futuristic Earth in the 1960s, “First Steps” follows the team as they take on Galactus and his herald, The Silver Surfer, who have selected the planet as the villain’s next meal. Will the team successfully use their otherworldly powers to save Earth’s inhabitants from destruction?

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the F4. The film’s supporting cast includes Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles.
Matt Shakman directs a script by Josh Friedman, Eric Pearson, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer for “First Steps.” As per usual for the MCU, Kevin Feige produces via Marvel Studios.
