It’s been a long gap — nearly two years since the first season premiered in June 2015 — but that wait ends at midnight tonight, and to celebrate, Collider have premiered a new trailer for the second batch of episodes. Lily Wachowski sat out the new run, but otherwise things look to be picking up more or less where we left off, as the interlinked eight characters from around the world continue to flee from the sinister Mr. Whispers, and encounter further sensates like themselves.
It’s a flawed, often frustrating show, but a fascinating one nevertheless, and as pure a distillation of the Wachowskis’ favorite themes as you could really ask for. Doona Bae, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Max Riemelt, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Brian J. Smith and Toby Onwumere (the latter a newcomer to the cast, replacing Aml Ameen) are all back, and you can check the show out on Netflix from tomorrow.
