'The Night House' Trailer: Rebecca Hall Is Haunted By The Ghost Of Her Dead Husband

Death, grief and recovery are hard roads to get past, but in “The Night House,” perhaps something more sinister than just shuffling off this mortal coil is on the menu. In this eerie Sundance picture starring Rebecca Hall (upcoming “Passing,” “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “The Town“), Sarah Goldberg (“Barry”), Evan Jonigkeit (“X-Men: Days of Future Past“), Stacy Martin (“Nymphomaniac“) and Vondie Curtis Hall (“Die Hard 2“), a widow (Hall) begins to uncover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets.

The movie is from indie filmmaker David Bruckner, known for “V/H/S,” “The Ritual,” and “Southbound.” And it’s a frightening one too. Our review from Sundance 2020 says, “With sequences of sustained eeriness, in which the flesh creeps relentlessly off your bones, and one-two-three-punch jump scares so effective you practically trip over the skin you’ve just leaped out of, David Bruckner‘s Sundance midnight title ‘The Night House‘ does a very good job of parting you from your epidermis. “
