Well, we all know how that turned out, and as we’ve said time and again, test screenings are not an accurate measure of a film’s quality. THR reports that “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” has landed a perfect 100 score, the highest in Marvel history, following an early test screening. It should be noted that while the standard procedure is to grab a bunch of randoms for test screenings, Marvel does things slightly differently, using a wide base of “friends and family” for early previews in an effort to prevent spoilers from leaking out. So, you could argue they’re playing with a stacked deck, and even if everyone is being as objective as possible, this should all be taken with a massive grain of salt.

“Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” opens on May 5th and it will either be the best Marvel and superhero movie ever or… not.
