After seven seasons, Netflix is deciding to call it quits with “Orange is the New Black.” The Emmy-winning series was one of the first that earned the streaming service critical acclaim and has become synonymous with the rise in Peak TV in recent years. With July right around the corner, it’s time for fans to begin to accept that the end is near for the ladies of Litchfield.
As seen in the new trailer for Season 7, things have changed quite a bit for the characters in “Orange is the New Black.” Sure, some of the characters haven’t changed much, as there’s still plenty of that chemistry and dialogue that made the series one of the first must-see shows on Netflix. But with the end being on the horizon, it’s time to look at what might happen to these characters as some leave prison and others deal with what seems to be life behind bars.
